Dayspring Counseling Services has a desire to aid in the development of upcoming clinicians. We are interested in building the clinical competence of students interested in providing counseling services to others. Dayspring has limited graduate internships to students in master’s level and/or doctoral level programs. Dayspring currently has two counseling interns in our Exton location. The internship program is guided by Dr. Suzette Sims, Licensed Psychologist. Supervision is provided by Dr. Suzette Sims. Internship training is provided to graduate students with a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as Dr. Sims practices Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. In addition to clinical supervision for individual counseling, the internship includes the responsibility to create and facilitate a psycho-educational group for Coatesville Kids to College, an after-school program. Interns will be placed in the clinical office setting and within a community setting to provide services to clients and students in the community.
